Dr. John Taylor serves as the Director of Academic Graduate Program and the professor of New Testament at Gateway Seminary. He has contributed works to multiple publications such as Southwestern Journal of Theology and Bulletin for Biblical Research, and has presented papers at various conferences such as Evangelical Theolofical Society and Society of Biblical Literature. Dr. Taylor earned a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at the University of Cambridge with a research interest in Pauline Studies. Prior to his faculty appointment at Gateway, he served as the professor of New Testament and was involved in various administrative roles at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his ministry life, Dr. Taylor served in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Australia and England from 1979 to 1996 in multiple leadership positions. He has also been an itinerant preacher, speaker and lecturer at various churches, seminaries, mission centers and conferences in over twenty countries.
