John W. Taylor

Dr. John Taylor serves as chair of biblical studies and professor of New Testament at Gateway Seminary. Dr. Taylor earned a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at the University of Cambridge with a research interest in Pauline Studies. Prior to his faculty appointment at Gateway, he served as professor of New Testament at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his ministry life, Dr. Taylor served in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Australia and England from 1979 to 1996 in multiple leadership positions. He has also been an itinerant preacher, speaker and lecturer at various churches, seminaries, mission centers and conferences in over twenty countries.
