This category collects challenging, informative and gospel-centered writing, podcasts and videos. Gateway Seminary has a reputation for practical training of leaders for contextualized ministry. While some may assume robust theological education and practical ministry preparation are at odds with one another, we believe the foundation of effective ministry is good theology. Proper thinking is necessary for appropriate action. The Leadership category features encouraging, honest, and realistic reflections from a community of experienced ministry leaders, including our president, Dr. Jeff Iorg. Two primary features of this section are Iorg’s longstanding weekly blog and the LEAD ON podcast, his weekly show on the joys, burdens and challenges that accompany the call to leadership. The insights here are founded in the Bible, have been earned through experience, and then tested in the ministry field.
